A recent feature by the Social Service Research Centre (NUS) highlights our study on bias-based bullying among young persons with disabilities in Singapore.

The article brings forward key insights from our research, including how bullying is often experienced as ongoing and intersecting forms of harm, and how these experiences continue to shape emotional wellbeing, identity, and social participation over time. It also underscores the importance of moving beyond individual-level responses to consider the broader structural and cultural conditions that sustain exclusion within school environments.

This piece contributes to ongoing conversations about how educators, practitioners, and institutions can better support young persons with disabilities through more inclusive and structurally informed approaches.
